• Using Technology to Differentiate Instruction for Struggling Students to Meet the Common Core State Standards This event introduces PowerUp WHAT WORKS, a free online professional learning environment that supports educators in their efforts to enhance teaching and learning to ensure that struggling students and those with disabilities can meet the Common Core State Standards. PowerUp offers “anytime, anyplace” resources and tools for teachers, PD facilitators, teacher educators, and school leaders. Our approach combines evidence-based practices and universal design for learning to personalize instruction in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math supported with technology. It offers teachers the opportunity for self-directed learning and PD facilitators and teacher educators the information they need to enhance the preparation of pre-service and in-service teachers.
